The Middle Tennessee Council Boy Scouts of America invites you to attend the annual Memorial Day Flag Placement events at many of our Middle Tennessee cemeteries; Nashville National Cemetery in Madison, The Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery in Pegram, Stones River National Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Elmwood and Memorial Cemeteries in Springfield and Oakwood Cemetery in Tullahoma just to name a few.   This is just one of many ways the Scouts can show their patriotism and citizenship for our country’s veterans.  This tradition was started more than 40 years ago, and still continues to grow.

Most placements will take place on Saturday, May 25th with a few on another day. (** One listed below.)

Scouts should be in uniform, one of the many ways we will be showing respect to the awesome sacrifice made by the veterans whom we seek to honor.  Participants who desire will receive a patch (available in August after patch order is placed).  Flags will be provided.

If you need additional information, please contact Tricia Cashon at 615-506-6974 or TriciaCashon@comcast.net or any of the other specific cemetery contact persons listed below.

There is no cost to participate in this event.  Please complete ONLY 1 registration form per unit/location, to help assist us in planning the event and reducing wait times on the day of the flag placement.

If there is a cemetary in your area, not listed above, that you will be placing flags at, you can still receive a patch.  However, you must register here for the patches.  Patches will only be given to those units that register on doubleknot (online registration) prior to the flag placement day.
