The University of Scouting is a one-day supplemental training opportunity for all adult volunteer Scouters. Supplemental training goes beyond Fast Start, Basic, and Advanced Training to give Scouters knowledge & skills on specific topics to help them deliver the promise of scouting to their youth. Our goal is to offer additional classes that help you as a leader now instead of you finding out the information years later. The quicker you know the faster you can apply the knowledge to your units.
ALL adult Volunteers should attend this event. The event includes classes for all levels of Scouting to include Cub, Boy Scout, and Venturing classes in 2013 as well!
All attendees will receive a patch, lunch, and a Certificate with their registration
Everyone must select their lunch preferences when registering. We have 3 choices to include: Turkey Sandwich, Ham Sandwich, or Vegetarian Meals. You will receive a ticket for your lunch at check-in the day of the event. If you enroll in the Dutch Oven Cooking Class or the BALOO Training then preparation of your lunch will be part of the class program; please select accordingly when registering.
