A Program for Career Education

Exploring is a High School career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) or 15 to 20 years old.

Exploring’s purpose is to provide hands on career experiences to help young people determine if they want to pursue a certain career upon high school graduation. Exploring Posts are designed around the needs and wants of the youth.

Local community organizations and/or businesses initiate an Explorer Post by matching their people and program resources to the career interests of young people in the community. The result is a program of activities that helps youth pursue their special career interests, grow, and develop in to mature adults.

Adults are selected by the participating organization to lead program. Color, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic background, economic status, or citizenship is not criteria for participation

Completing this form does not register your child in the Exploring Program.  It does register your child for the indicated Post orientation.  PLEASE ATTEND WITH YOUR CHILD IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.  Further information will be made available at the orientation for the Exploring post.
